mysqladmin -u root password yournew password

#changing root password

login as root to mysql
SET PASSWORD FOR 'root'@'localhost' = PASSWORD('MyNewPassword');

    Malimit ko ring malimutan yang command na yan. Advantage of keeping blogs, repository ng iba’t ibang ginagawa na nalilimutan minsan.

    I cant see root user at MySQL Administrator.
    When i try to add a new user i see this message:

    Could not Fetch Usernames
    Access denied for ‘root’@%’ to database ‘mysql’

    any suggestions???
